Here are my latest figures, after a long hiatus - a unit of A&A Miniatures 3rd Century Praetorian Guards. There is another photograph here. The 'Liquid Leaf' bronze paint worked well, and didn't react to the 'dip' or Dull Cote at all, so I am a happy bunny - I can paint ancients again, without all the hassle I was experiencing before.
21st August, 2013 - Update
Thanks to a suggestion from Steve Hales of Little Big Men Studios, I have improved the vexillum (flag) on the standard.
I used a 'flag' from a set intended for Aventine Miniatures' Early Imperial Romans, which I had to trim a bit. It looks okay though - a jolly sight better than my own paltry effort!
